on ka eestlanna!!
Eesti Elus ilmunud artikkel ütleb, et Hele Montagna on eestlanna. Siin, ingliskeelses, ei ütle, et Liis Veelma on eestlanna, ainult "listener" So, what's your point?????
CBC Radio Music Producer Hele Montagna has informed us that Catherine Belyea will include music and performances the who’s who of Estonian composers and conductors, featuring Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt, Tõnu Kaljuste, Neeme, - Paavo- and Kristjan Järvi, as well as Anu Tali, among others.
Just recently Neeme Järvi disclosed his personal view about Estonian music-that it has lost much of its gloss due to the fact that in Estonia itself, music has slowly lost its slogan as Estonia's passport to the world. Perhaps it might be worth remembering that Estonian pride can only be sustained for as long as general interest in the arts can be sustained. Judging by the declining level of interest towards serious music in Estonia, it may be that the former cultural super-state is dumbing itself down in size to the rest of the world's worst forms of cultural expression.
Sorry - my pride isn't linked to the latest Arvo Part CD. There's more to being Estonian than just that.
Vabandust, arvasin et teatakse ja on arusaadud, Eesti Elu on ajaleht, EE Online on EE võrguväljaannete toimetus ja Estonian Life on inglisekeelne lehe lisa. Vaadake kohalikke uudiseid siin samas websiteis ja näete:
"Eestlanna Hele Montagna, CBC Toronto Radio Music produtsent, kellel on pikaaegne panus siin riigis eesti muusikat tutvustades CBC kaudu,..."
hair-splitters, those estos...
