It does not take a genius to figure out that we are headed for the biggest depression since the 1930s. Dmitry Orlov referred to Obama as America's Gorbachev in one of his recent articles as he will likely be the one who dismantles and destroys the American empire from within, much like Gorbachev did to the Soviet Union. Many liberals actually hope this will happen but regardless of what we may think of American culture, if this superpower collapses because of either leftist-liberal incompetence of deliberate internal dismantling, a power vacuum brought about by the end of America will not make the world a very safe place.
