I have nothing to hide and welcome the surveillance if it helps to lock up the thugs, terrorists, pedofiles, etc.

Why not listen in to all phone calls, open peoples mail and listen to all f2f conversations without warrants as well. Thugs use those methods as well.

Anna, do you really want to live in a society were the police can arbitrarily decide who to snoop on without a warrant? The system that we now have in place makes us different from totalitarian countries and I see no reason to change it.
