Quite a strange overreaction that completely misses the point. It's not a question of who is issuing these random press releases but the random content within them that has no connection to Estonian or Estonian Canadian issues. Why does this simple concept seem so difficult to grasp?
For real? Estonain Canadians only go to kirik, Eesti Maja and the surnuaed? perhaps, as residents of this country they also visit National Parks, and appreciate info. Estonain language information published in the newspaper often translates such press releases fro the older folks ( who should already know enough English, but what of that) How about those on the periphery with poor Esto skills? I think EE is doing a community service here, and your thoughts of random press releases being posted are narrow-minded. Besides, Bryon Wilfert is a big friend of Estonia/Canadian Estos, so what is wrong with posting an occasional press release from his office? Or do you have a bone to pick that has to do with the occasional CanCON? (Meaning that you do not appreciate the country you live in, but insist on your heritage being more important than the cauldron around you?) I for one, don't get the Saskatchewan Roughriders centennial posting, but it does not bother me, I can just skip over it. A possibility for you in the future, mebbe?
