Looking at the photos of this event, I wondered where the authentic looking Red Army uniforms came from. I assumed that they were from a local theatre and film supply company. Now, I know better.
I still wonder where the Soviet patriots came from. After all, Russians suffered as much as Estonians under communist oppression and the NKVD killed more Russians than the Nazis did. If the blood-red rag, adorned with the hammer and sickle, is truly worth waving, why are these Russians in Canada?
