Russia is well-equipped and ruthless, but; it's military forces are undermined by poor training and morale.
In Georgia, it's foot soldiers focused on pillaging liquor supplies and raping women; and pilots performed poorly because of inadequate training in the air.
That said, Russia poses a formidable threat simply by its size.
