Balts are quite aware that we are expendable for other Europe countries, as we were when we were part of the League of Nations. That brotherhood turned out to be an empty gesture, "we'll take care of each other" didn't apply to the Balts, even back then. It's a dog eat dog world out there ... survival of the fittest.
