Sounds good for younger people but a significant number of elderly people are vision-impaired (macular degeneration, etc) and cannot see what is written on the small iPhone screen. They do better with iPads but, of course, the larger iPads are harder to carry around. Also, an amazing number of elderly individuals are not tech-savvy and do not want to use the internet and email at lot of the time. This does not mean that digital ID is a bad idea. However, it does alert us to the fact that it is unlikely to be first choice for a certain % of the general population.
