Wonderful to see so many Estonians out for this event. In the future we should find more ways to share information on Estonian cultural events in advance and work to help more people make it out who may not have access to cars.

The decision to invite choirs from Eesti to Seedrioru for Suvihari 2024 for their Laulupäev IX had been in the works since Seedrioru's AGM in the fall of 2023.

Once the travel arrangements were set, the following item was posted on social media on February 9, 2024.

"A little bit of pre-publicity... The Estonian National Radio Broadcasting Choir under the direction of Hirvo Surva will be giving a concert at Georgian Shores United Church in Owen Sound on Wednesday July 3, 2024 in the evening. This award winning choir will be a "must hear". Put this date aside and start telling your friends. More in the next little while! If you can, please share this" - Norman Reintamm

These choirs had performances before and after Seedrioru at several locations before their performance in Owen Sound.

I believe that it was more efficient to transport the choirs around than to coordinate the transportation of audiences.
