But really, as a professional journalist, Laas knows which side of the toast is buttered and that's the side he's going to put the honey on. That is his job. Peter seems to have lost some weight - hopefully that's a good thing.

Laas, we love you! I don't know anyone else who has given so much of himself for our community as you. Don't let this lone heckler get you down, he can be extremely relentless, downright cruel, and obviously has issues of his own to be so hurtful.

I think the comment was referring to Leivat's lack of objectivity as a professional journalist rather than his significant contributions to the Estonian community in Canada.
But since you've brought it up, and rather rudely, there are a large number of community members who have contributed as much if not more. Names like Tampold, Hess, Toi, Verder, Rosenberg and many others come to mind. Not everyone in the community has the luxury of being a professional Estonian!

What is a professional Estonian? One who fleeces the community? Many estos became rich on the backs of their compatriots... Leivat at least has not.
