1While it it unfortunate that the gun range had to close now (I can see that the any reasonable purchaser would not want the liability associated with this activity), I find it reprehensible that the club should litigate the matter. This is definitely not community minded. So, tell us more Mr. Alliksaar about the settlement.

30I was one of the few kids in camp who travelled to Uxbridge to go shooting with hr Ruberg in the 1970’s. Great fun but those times are over. This is 2020 and in my opinion the city of Toronto doesn’t need a rifle/shooting range of any kind. Just an opinion of one. Don’t shoot the messenger.

30Toronto doesn't 'need' a shooting range. It also doesn't need archery, horseback riding, backyard gardening, sail boats, motorcycles, etc, etc. If people find it pleasing and their activities do not interfere with other people's rights, they should be free to pursue liberty and happiness (in orderly fashion suitable for Toronto and Canada).

After all, did not EMB with legal advice sign off on the deal?
