Since the angry, uncalled for phone call from your leader, I am deeply hurt at accusations that this BAKE SALE was advertised in fine form. Also uncalled for are those 9 who don't like truth in paper. Eesti Kodu gets a total of 3 Esto Papers in 4 buildings & another 4 delivered to main house, and these go to seniors who either don't drive, don't read events that they cannot come to. So Esto Paper AD was a zero. You sold your goods to each other in your sorority, or to those who happen to go to Eesti Bank that morning only! And, now 9 trolls are after me for asking you to better advertise where needy Estos are who would benefit from cake! That is hurtful & unkind & I will remember these events made to an 80 year old.

Nothing puzzling in having bakesales for support. I am pretty sure most of the buyers have donated anyways. Bakesale organizers are donating their time and ingredients to bake and sell. And the buyers' money goes to Ukraine instead of a grocery store or bakery who may or may not donate for the cause you want to support ;)
Plus you have an opportunity to connect with likeminded people. I hope that you will not be wondering and be puzzled when there are similar events in the future :)

Reply to “An Observer” clearly you don’t see the benefits of a bake sale. People love to share their baked goods and socialize within the esto community … even if it is for a brief moment during Covid. If you want to cut a cheque all the power to you! Your comment may not sit well with some of the ladies, some in their 80’s and perhaps even 90’s who put in their best efforts to co-ordinate and make goods for you to stuff your face with.
