I realize that this is only an opinion of hr. Leivat, unfortunately, it would seem he gets most of his information from CNN, MSNBC, NYTimes, & WaPo.
These were once very respected journalistically honorable institutions, no longer can that be held true.
Now it would seem he is trying to explain what US politicians and half of the legal voters are thinking about... no longer can this be held true!
although the following is from an MSM outlet like those mentioned above, it does explain much of the misgivings of approximately half of the American taxpayers/citizens/legal voters.
Unless of course hr. Leivat is following the statements of SoS Clinton or President Biden and saying those against them are a basket full of deplorables or crazed MAGAs

Hr.Leivat has white-washed over half of the American people with his assumptions.
The "West" is at fault for allowing the lack of military and economic aid to Ukraine since the fall of CCCP.
American foreign policy was focused elsewhere due to the influence of neocons. Clinton started the ball rolling and every President since then has done more to hurt Ukraine than help.
The situation in Ukraine has always been a proxy war between the US & Russia. Which Obama/Biden could have settled in 2014.

It is hard to believe that someone who passionately loves Comrade Ansip, who is/was a Soviet career communist, cares about Estonia.

1The Laas who I know would still shake your hand and sit at the same table as you, and probably even try and engage in a meaningful discussion with you - even, maybe especially, if he knew of your political delusions. He is a class act all the way.
