5I appreciate Mr. Leivat's concern for the community. I would add that in addition to being Estonian, there are deeper roots to these types of disputes. For example, think of cut flowers. You can cut them off from their roots, put them in a vase, and admire them for a while. Eventually, they wither, die, and are discarded because they are cut off from their roots.
Speaking to problems in communities, one needs to get to the root of them. I would add to Mr. Leivat's observations the following video on "being" between Ben Shapiro (an orthodox Jew) and Robert Barron (a Catholic apologist) for our consideration: https://www.wordonfire.org/vid....

3If I read Leivat's comments correctly, he encourages dissent, but he calls nastiness and cruelty in arguments as non-Estonian and unproductive.

The evening was run by Harpies, one shouting from the balcony that it was TIME TO VOTE (vote on what e-x-a-c-t-l-y…hence the dissent) and from the Altar a declaration: "The Columbarium was the worst thing to ever happen to this Church” (more dissent from the attendees) Ai-jai-jai…All could hear the Pastor rattling about in his urn. Seems to be a lot at stake these days in Toronto’s Eesti selts and it is not about something so common as money, it is the Estonian hing. What have we become and where are we going.
