WHO: Hear Here is a non-profit charitable organization that purchases hearing aids for children. Hear Here was founded in 2000 by entertainment industry publicist Eric Alper and his audiologists Chris Kyroglou and Nick Veronico of Union Hearing Aid Center in Toronto. WHAT: Attracting over 1500 people and raising more than $10,000 per year, this is one of the only events of its kind promoting public awareness of hearing loss, especially in babies and children. All contributions and monies raised are tax deducible and receipts will be issues (Fund charitable number #00010-36563-00000)

OTHER NOTES: Free admission, and play all day passes are $10 per child, or a $20 family pass. Many new inflatable rides, archery, canoeing, Heidi The Clown, face painting, and Tricky Ricky's Magic Show. Over $5,000 in prizes to win, including Playstation3, PSP, Nintendo Wii, DS Systems and much more. With over 15 years of experience between them, Chris and Nick are dedicated to increasing access to hearing aids and other hearing devices for children. Many hearing-impaired children are not able to afford the aids largely due to recent government cutbacks and changes in the legislation. Responding to the need they witnessed in many of their clients, the idea for raising money came to Chris, Nick and Eric and their sponsors joined them enthusiastically.
