Jaan Kirsipuu had a long and very successful professional career. Among his many victories are three stage-wins in the Tour de France. He has also worn its prestigious "yellow Jersey".
He is also known for his generosity toward young and developing cyclists.

He is a "pure" sprinter, one of those guys that the teams will try to shepherd into position for a cannon shot (60+ km/h on level pavement) finish over the last +/- 500 meters of a 150+ km stage or single-day race. Kirsipuu was one of the world elite in this specialty for many years and is still a big-time eurosport celebrity superstar.
Like most sprinters, he is in no way a climber and (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't believe he ever actually finished a Tour de France, as he could never make it over the mountain stages within the prescribed time limits.
This should be fun.
