Nice to see you back, doing what you're best at.
Based on your account, I think that I'll enjoy this book

Peeter is one of the best writers for EE. Alongside names like Eerik Purje, Viido Polikarpus, Arved Plaks and Ellen Puusaag his articles are captivatingly written. Please write more often! Maxim.

The semi-literate freak, Maxim --he says, 'friek' -- assesses Eesti Elu's writers, confident that he's qualified to do it and that there's someone among the readership who wants to know.

'Freak' and 'friek' are pronounced in the same way. You should have said that the semi-literate Maxim, our self-appointed journalism critic, writes 'freak' as 'friek'.
I predict that Maxim will arrive soon barking in denial about ever writing 'friek'.
It wont be the first time that Maxim flat-out denies something that is recorded in the archives.

How did Ilmar Külvet get away with deflating the egos of our pompous community leaders? He must have had a disarming sense of humour indeed. And where is he now when we need him as much as ever?
Ours is a small and shrinking community which needs volunteers to sustain it with hard, thankless work. Few are willing to do it and, of them, some strut about like General Boom in an Offenbach operetta. It can be funny -- until you get close enough to fall victim to their disdainful snobbery. So we're caught in a dilemma – we need them to organize our community while they drive some of us away.

Maxim -- with your mental deficencies, we can't expect you to know that apples can't be compared to oranges. So here, you can look at a stand of mixed fruits and stamp them with your generic seal of approval.
Among journalists, Purje is an artist and Puusaag, a logician. They can't be compared, not to each other, nor to the others who also have their virtues.
Thanks anyway, Maxim. Thanks for changing your cud. For years, it was painful to read your hideous insults, slurs, jeers and taunts, all delivered in a style that made you look like a half-wit. Now that your comments are merely vacuous and inane, you still look like a half-wit but almost tolerable.

Someone recently told me that the Toronto community is well and truly on the wane, and youth is a thing of the past. I would say that judging by the responses to my extremely positive posting, there is a strong sense of desperation that has taken control of many in the Community. I'm delighted that there are so many good writers for EE, and despite the bitterness encountered in responses, at least these authors have their heads screwed on properly and are civic-minded to boot! I don't think my critics will ever get a leading role in our community, and they don't deserve to in any case. Maxim.
