Germany will veto expansion.
Petain04 Apr 2008 09:19
Non, monsieur, Sarkozy peut dire va te faire foutre.
Gerhard04 Apr 2008 10:54
Mon Cher Monsieur Petain:

Lisez aujourd'hui The Wall Street Journal, s’il vous plaît:

http://online.wsj.com/article/...

Swallow that, my friend.

Verrückter Franzose!
Petain, noch einmal05 Apr 2008 09:36
Kamerad, bitte, nicht 'Monsieur" aber Marschall.

Das is mir egal...

Also bitte glauben Sie mir: NATO-Erweiterung ist fehlgeschlagen.

These fundamental decisions will be decided upon the basis and the common interests of the global movement of Freemasons, of which Kelam is also a participant. He should know that there are also Freemasons actively practicing the "art" in Russia, and there are common interests across borders. NATO will be told what its role is once the Freemasons have cast the primary decisions. After all, there isn't one institution in the world where a 33rd degree Mason is not controlling the actions of others- and Tunne knows that only too well!!!
Gerhard04 Apr 2008 19:56
Maxim. Ich werde an Ihrem Einblick überrascht.
hey Maxim!06 Apr 2008 18:27
Tell us how you got the membership list of the super-secret, nefarious Freemasons.
Re07 Apr 2008 07:31
Maxim has done his homework.

Also it is most interesting that HarryTruman was a 32 degree mason until he dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, after which he was given the 33 degree ...
Maximus07 Apr 2008 08:15
[i]Tell us how you got the membership list of the super-secret, nefarious Freemasons.[i]

And while you're at it, please let us know the location of the mysterious Sasquatch.
Maxim.07 Apr 2008 11:29
The answer to that is quite simple-Kelam has publicly advertized his membership in the Masonic movement, and considers the organization a praiseworthy institution. He is not a 33rd degree Mason, but his superior Arno Köörna is the leading Mason in Estonia, who has also been interviewed by the press recently, and confided that ALL private national Transportation networks in Estonia are now under the directorship of Estonia's Masonic fraternity. The recent "caving in" of NATO at its annual summit is a clear predicament that Russia's interests are taken seriously by this organization, who claims to represent a mechanism of defense of the enemy. Considering the recent Bucharest turn of events, it is now clear that Russia is not considered an enemy by European standards. Many thanks to the brotherhood of Masons for helping us out on that one!
hmmmmmmmm07 Apr 2008 14:23
Is it true that Kelam is a freemason,
because is he not Catholic which prohibits masonic membership ?
Toomas Merilo07 Apr 2008 21:52
Well, lo and behold, Maxim is up to his old tricks again.

He once again pontificates about something he doesn’t have a clue about. Let’s see, Maxim writes: [i]“ “The recent "caving in" of NATO at its annual summit is a clear predicament [sic] that Russia's interests are taken seriously by this organization … Considering the recent Bucharest turn of events, it is now clear that Russia is not considered an enemy by European standards.” [i]

Caving in? Turn of events? Sorry, Maxim, the exact opposite happened. This despite Russia’s thunderous protests and grave warnings prior to the summit.

1. NATO invited Croatia and Albania to begin accession talks leading to full membership
2. NATO declared that both Georgia and Ukraine will become full members

NATO has once again shown Russia its place. So what is it that Maxim is talking about? Certainly not about anything happening in our Universe. And what does this tell us about Maxim?

In case you doubt my facts, Maxim, you can find NATO’s final communiqué here:

http://www.nato.int/docu/pr/20...

Note that:

Paragraph 2 says: [i]“Today, we have decided to invite Albania and Croatia to begin accession talks to join our Alliance.”[i]

Paragraph 23 says: [i]“ “NATO welcomes Ukraine’s and Georgia’s Euro Atlantic aspirations for membership in NATO. We agreed today that these countries will become members of NATO.” [i]
Maxim.07 Apr 2008 23:41
Toomas, you are avoiding the primary issue, and that is; Europe's expectations of NATO enlargement have FAILED this time round on a scale which arouses worry throughout Europe! The soft touch NATO approach of not treading on Russia directly indicates that NATO is fairly close to being a toothless tiger inasmuch as it is possible to bluff the world-which is a considerable degree judging by your response. Look in the mirror and ask yourself Toomas-why am I not at the forefront of criticizing Russia any more, when it used to be such a high priority in our community's former days. Alternately, read Leo Kunnas' article in today's EPL-he deals with the real fears we should all have concerning Russia, instead of sticking our heads in the sand like some people prefer to do.
Toomas Merilo08 Apr 2008 00:01
Now Maxim is getting bizarre when he writes: [i]Europe's expectations of NATO enlargement have FAILED this time round. [i]

Sorry. He is wrong. NATO’s summit was an unexpected show of solidarity against Russia in every respect. See above. Maybe Maxim sees these words but is in denial… his brain just can’t process them.
Maxim.08 Apr 2008 06:42
In response to Toomas' comment, I offer thes two highly regarded opinions about the current state of NATO's relationship with Russia, and when they are read, it should leave no doubt whatsoever that in Europe we don't view NATO politics with the obviously rosy glasses that Canadians so frequently tend to do these days. With all due respect to Toomas, I find his attitude in this case quite alarming.

Toomas provides facts, Maxim provides opinions. Interesting.
Maxim.08 Apr 2008 09:26
Let's see what happens when all hell breaks loose on April 26th in Tallinn's Hirvepark. Since you have no idea of what is taking place at behind the scenes and in the corridors of State power, then the only hint is this; Pihl is already sweating like hell worried sick about how the Russians are going to commemorate the anniversary of the April uprising. Of course we can always rely on Toomas to tell us NATO's got it all under control. Like hell it has!!!!!!!

mcguinty said no more taxes ...
harper said he will keep income trusts ...
fdr in his 1941 atlantic charter said freedom and free elections for all people at the end of ww II ...
the american government was unaware of 9/11 ...
iraq had weapons of mass destruction ...
...words as facts, do not always have corresponding actions

... all former communist countries are looking for protective alliances preventing moscow's return !

as america starts to withdraw its prescence, does kelam see albanian troops as vital in helping
protect europe ?
is there a concern that nato's security can be compromised by these new entrants ?
Naomi Klein08 Apr 2008 09:30
Also provides opinions, not facts. A blogger, perhaps familiar to Mr Maximus (?), recently wrote...

A lot of [this] research has been later used as the base for modern interrogation (torture?) employed by around the world. Klein also argues that basic principals of this research has been used on a much larger scale to inflict mass therapy on entire nations, braking them down to their basic level and wipe out any resistance in order to implement radical reforms that would otherwise be opposed by the majority of the population.

(and for what it is worth Bigfoot is in cahoots with Sasquatch and Yeti, working to a) discover their metrosexuality and then see if Ontario will include such work in the forcefeeding, also known as curriculum from pricipled above, and b) undermine the Beijing Games. Neither endeavour will amount to a fart in the path of the hurricane, or will it?)
Madis08 Apr 2008 12:03
When Päts compromised Estonian interests at the end of the 1930's, it was based on opinion of what he thought of Russia, not on fact of what Russia had done. Till then Päts had good relations with Russia. But Russia's cunning and ability to outwit Päts was not a fact Russia was prepared to give away that easily. The fact was proven later. The only saving grace for Päts was that there wasn't a lot of bloodshed. Still, there is a lesson to be had from that period on history-trusting Russia is a dangerous business, and there is every indication that Russia is even more trusted today than she was in the days and to the degree when Päts sought comfort from his Eastern neighbours. If there is too much absolute faith in NATO, and it will eventually lead to disillusionment when NATO proves unable to deliver the goods when push comes to shove. There is absolutely no guarantee that NATO is militarily superior to Russia, especially since Russia's newfound wealth in petroleum has upped Russia's stakes in terms of her readiness to enter war.
Anonymous08 Apr 2008 13:50
Why can't you spell out the reasons as to why these countries could not be given admission to NATO at this important historical juncture?
Gerhard05 Apr 2008 20:59
Stupidity

My dearest French traitor, Marshall Pétain:

I am on the righteous path, much like you once were. So believe me: NATO enlargement is finished.

You seem obsessed by sausage. If you want meat, real meat, might I suggest you try German Sausage. Forget the bread-crumb and meat mixture you French call “sausage”.
Pétain, encore08 Apr 2008 07:05
Mes ami(e)s: Vous manquez l'importance. Les socialistes voudrais l'etabliment d'une situation comme ça.

Hin plain Hinglish, hinfighting 'elps the hother guy, hin this case les commies, win.
