The first appointment of president-elect Barack Obama should raise some eyebrows - Rahim Emanuel is not only a "pitbull", a one-time key member of the Clinton administration who has been described as worse than a simultaneous toothache and hemmorhoids, but is also the son of a militant terrorist.

According to Wikipedia: Emanuel was born in Chicago, Illinois. His father, the Jerusalem-born Benjamin M. Emanuel, is a pediatrician and was a member of the Irgun, a militant Zionist group active during the British Mandate of Palestine.

Irgun, which was responsible for bombing hotels, marketplaces as well as the infamous Deir Yassin massacre, in which hundreds of Palestinian villagers were slaughtered.

Revelations about Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers, a Weather Underground domestic terrorist, which dogged him during the final weeks of the campaign trail, pale in significance to his selection of Emanuel, whose father, Benjamin M. Emanuel, was an Irgun member.
