Like yourself, Laas, I recall the first years of exile with nostalgia. What we lacked in material goods was compensated by family and community fellowship.
In that context, we were imprinted with our personal identity -- we were Estonian exiles and it's just a question of time before we can go home again. It's a pity that it didn't work out that way.
