It is great that the club has a new site!
What is, however, distressing is that TEPP felt it appropriate to litigate against the Estonian House. For those who attended the virtual Estonian House AGM last week, a question was asked about the quantum of the settlement. As was then stated, TEPP was paid $75,000. TEPP's having instituted legal action is reprehensible. It will take a while for many in the community to forgive and forget.
Mr Alliksaar should stand before the community and justify his actions. His lack of community spirit is evident.

With legal fees the total cost was into the 6 figures. I am absolutely disgusted with TEPP with this. Completely reprehensible.
This is basic contract law. You break the lease, you pay. You break the lease while being a total ahole, you pay double.
It is great that the EH has a new site!
What is, however, distressing is that EH felt it appropriate to spend millions on several failed development projects and they keep throwing good money after bad. For those who attended the virtual Estonian House AGM last week, a question was asked about the quantum spent. As was then stated, IEC project has already spent $3,000,000+

I would be interested in having TEPP post the lease it had to this website. Let's deal with facts and have all have a read of it. So, Mr. Alliksaar, help us out here.
How about pushing instead for an answer as to what $2.9 MILLION will be spent on under the Administration and Marketing line of the Madison build budget... over 1.5 years. The answer was a fumble, with no specific answer. Now that is an amount to worry about!
What actually is really distressing,is that David Hogg ,(who asked the question) thought this was the MOST important question to ask at the AGM , instead of asking how much has been spent so far on the IEC and ,how we are going to cover the massive debt,of the Mad. project. Skaut leadership should care since they voted to sell EM,and therefore, will be responsible for that escalating debt.
Since there is so much money being sunk into the Madison project, and the sale of the Esto House plus the current amount of donations will not cover it, I would like to be reassured by the EM board that as a shareholder, I am not liable if the entire project collapses.
First, IEC receives the funding it does because it is important. Is TEPP really important? The answer is no, it is not. Second, Alliksaar had an axe to grind with the EH leadership. TEPP provided him an opportunity. This has nothing to do with the preservation of TEPP, not in the slightest.
