I like Kasekamp. He is an un-biased moderator and does not come across as a person with agenda.
Estonians uniquely have established a Chair at the University of Toronto, a vital position which historian Prof. Kasekamp fills admirably. But where are the Estonian youth? Why are they not organized?

I met a EKRE member, Mart Niklus, who spent 16 years in the Gulag under Article 58; specifically, for "disseminating non-existent facts".
He is a staunch anti-communist, but otherwise, a familiar sort of conservative.

Wow, that's ballsy to call Mart Niklus a kook. Try saying that in Estonia and see what reaction you get. Niklus, Enn Tarto, and Jüri Kukk spoke up for Estonian freedom at a time when no one dared. They were all sent and imprisoned in Siberia, Kukk died there.
Your comment about Niklus shows how little those who grew up outside of Estonia know about important milestones along Estonia's long road to reindependence. You might like to pick up a history book.

I think Enamus hit the nail on the head. EKRE is a collection of bigoted, racist, far right thuggery. Regardless of how admirable their past is, members are judged for what they do now. Similar to Rudy Giuliani, who gained admiration and respect for leading New York City through its darkest chapter during 9/11, he will instead go down in history as a Trumpist sycophant. True, largest single party. But only 20% of the population. Point is most Estonians recognize the danger EKRE represents. Educated folks want nothing to do with them. While Ukraine is in crisis, Keskus project lead, Ellen Valter, is in Florida, today, soliciting donations from rich American Estonians who are so distant, they don't know the true Keskus project status and cost.
