It's excellent that Tom Trei puts the MRP into a historically meaningful context. The MRP will remain an issue that alienates most of the peoples of Eastern and Central Europe from Russia. Until Moscow recognizes the painful and tragic significance of colluding with Hitler, Russians will continue suffer from blinding self-denial and to promote an embarassing, self-deluding lie. The Kremlin should ask: why does most of Europe, in fact most of the industrialized western world mistrust it?
