This film was screened in Toronto in the mid-1970's. I saw it and can report that it's as corny as a 1950's Roy Rogers horse opera.

Anyone planning on seeing it should smoke a little dope beforehand to turn it into an amusing experience. Otherwise, be prepared for some nauseating socialist kitsh.

Please explain the socialist kitsh, I never got that out of the movie (no more so than in such classic films as Robin Hood).

I would rather suggest that anyone, who enjoys old movies with leads like Errol Flynn (sp), will most likely enjoy this film, which has been retouched with colour (originally black & white).

I say, time to dress up as your favourite caracter, as people do for The Sound of Music and other such "corny' films!

Muidugi "meie Torontos" teame kõike paremini! Ärge tooge meile neid kommunistliku Eesti filme!
(Enamus inimesi on Eestis ja küllap ka Kanadas siiski teisel arvamusel., see on tõesti lahe film.)

Yeah, I was stoned on acid the last time I saw that film. You have to be stoned to like anything from the old country. If you don't like the stuff then stone it.
