How relling, that even in 2007, in an enlightened age the Canadian government is still treating indigenous people in this way. The rampant problems on reserves - and land claim treaty settlement - can only be addressed through a mutual respect and teamwork, where both sides offer free and informed consent. Shame on Canada.
