The Soviet Era produced a unique stamina and will to achieve against all odds-a quality which is sorely missing in contemporary Estonia. Nostalgia hopefully will increase as the Baltic states economies fall on sad times, and arouse a fresh yearning for past successes. Long live the golden memories of the past glories of the USSR.
