U.S. Ambassador to Estonia Jeffrey D. Levine spoke at the opening a new American Space at the Tallinn University of Technology (TTU) on October 10. The new American Space at TTU will host extensive resources on the U.S., including on study opportunities at U.S. universities.

In addition, it will serve as a location for educational and cultural programs, open lectures, workshops and variety of public events with a uniquely American angle. Situated in the TTU campus main building, the American Space was made possible with support from the U.S. Embassy through a grant from the U.S. Department of State.

The launch of the new American Space coincides with a special “America Days Week” going on right now at TTU. The week’s events include various open lectures by American professors, U.S.- related special events, and workshops on study, internship and scholarship opportunities.
