Korp! Amicitia once again participated in this year’s Canadain Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Annual Run for the Cure which is held in cities nationwide. They were among Toronto’s 20,000 participants who helped raise $5,234,197, a 28% increase over last year. Approximately $33 million was raised across Canada. “Amicad for the Cure” ran in support of one of their own who is a survivor and in support of all women. (Hypothesis: If 20,000- Torontonians are able to raise about $5.2 million, then theoretically 1000 Estonians should be able, with the same dedication and enthusiasm, raise about $210,000. Hmm.) “Amicad for the Cure” organizer was Marika Arget.
