Estonian conductor Anu Tali and the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra (MCO) have not agreed to terms, reported Robert Everett-Green in the Globe and Mail on November 14th.

Tali had been named as the MCO’s new music director seven months ago. Everett-Green writes that “Tali, who had planned to continue her European career while leading the MCO, has withdrawn from two scheduled programs with the orchestra in February and May of next year. An MCO spokesman said that the orchestra will announce replacement conductors for those concerts soon, and will resume the search for a music director that began after British conductor Roy Goodman left the job in 2005.”
