Art show at the Estonian House

The Estonian House Art Committe is celebrating 15 years of activity this year. To mark the occasion, the Committee is holding an exhibition and sale of art by its members in the Estonian House gallery, Nov 16, 17.

The exhibition opens on Saturday, November 16 at 9 am, at 11 am the official opening will take place, remarks from Raivo Remmel, Chairman of the Estonian House Board of Directors. Refreshments will be served.Doors close at 4 pm. On Sunday Nov 17 the exhibition hours are 12- 5 pm.

This exhibition will offer something for everyone. There will be paintings by Linda Landre, Olja Müller, Elva Palo, Anne Remmel and Johannes Tanner; Reet Lindau-Voksepp’s graphic art; Naima Aer, Emil eerme, EnnKayari, Vaike Külvet, Liis Teedla and Nora Wallner will exhibit photography. The exhibition will also feature woodcraft from Naima Aer and a especial sculpture by Elva Palo. Reproductions of old Christmas cards will be on sale and should be of special interest. The curator of the show is Olja Müller, a recent graduate of the Ontario College of Art.
