Bird Droppings from Estonia: Announcing the publication of The xenophobes guide (2)

Hello friends!

The xenophobes guide to the Estonians, by yours truly, Lembit Öpik and Ulvi Mustmaa is now on sale in the UK. Most of the book is my work as regulars will realise half way through page one but there are some good bits by Lembit (who wrote the original) and some great information provided by Ulvi …

‘Droppings’ fans in the UK and Europe can get the opus magnum at Waterstone’s branches (see http://tinyurl.com/waterstones...) and independent bookshops like Foyle’s and Stanfords.

In Estonia books will be distributed via a wholesaler/distributor called Allecto raamatukauplus (Juhkentali 8, A.Lauteri 3 or Väike-Karja 5, Tallinn).

Copies are available for despatch in Australia through the online stores, Angus & Robertson at:
http://www.angusrobertson.com....

The book will be published in Canada and the USA in August 2010.

Once again, best to buy on line. In Canada, Chapters is an independent chain: http://tinyurl.com/chaptersest...

The ‘Droppings’ feathers were a tad ruffled by the amazon.com listings that gave Lembit top billing but Oval publishers have since explained that amazon are an unruly bunch who do not amend ads when asked so honour is satisfied. Order your copy anywhere in the world from:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb...

The book will be published in Canada and the USA in August 2010. Oval (the publishers) have advised that its best to buy on line. I don't know why - I myself love a proper old fashioned book store stuffed with paper... In Canada, the independent chain Chapters is dealing with the sales: http://tinyurl.com/chaptersest.... And of course there is also a Canadian Amazon:

From your previous contributions to EE, we're familiar with you and should anticipate a good read.
That said, your book should be reviewed in EE (if only because we don't know your co-authors) and stocked in the shop at Toronto's Eesti Maja.
Congratulations and keep up your good work.
