The 2022 Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held in October 2022. Some directors are standing for re-election. The Board is also accepting applications for new directors.
Ehatare needs directors with an uncompromised commitment to the needs of our Estonian elders. In addition, the Board needs diversity: individuals with strong familiarity with finance, fundraising, health care, law or property development.

You've arrived late, I'm sorry to say.
Goverment regulation of LTC is complete and Ehatare's staff is only there to administer its ever more detailed policies.
The result? It's no longer possible to maintain the Estonian character of the nursing home, so it may be time to give up that side of Ehatare's service to our community.

Years ago both the Retirement Home and Long Term Care Home were nearly 100 % Estonian.
Times have changed , with Ontario's health care system overloaded and in crisis. The newly introduced Bill 7 is going to be very negative for Ehatare LTC. Just very worried the government is getting more and more having a say how Ehatare is run.
