When I once told a 5-year-old that I help grown-ups to make art, she asked me “Why…did they forget?”
It is always a joy to look at an authentic view of the world through the lens of energetic youths. They remind us that art is about embracing the beauty and the imperfections of life around us. Children seem to do this very naturally without the help of adults.
Perhaps you know a young person, 5-16 years of age, who would like to share his or her art with other young artists. There is an opportunity for them to participate in an art show being held on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 10-6 p.m. at the Estonian House Gallery Hall. For participants, please have your art framed and wired for drop-off at the Gallery Hall on Saturday, November 7th from 1-4 p.m. There is a registration fee of $5.00. For additional information contact Elva Palo atelvapalo@cogeco.ca or 289-259-9753.
Friends, family and all interested public will be welcome on Sunday, November 8, 2015. See you there!
