Estonian Minister of Defense Jaak Aaviksoo is attending the Regional Collaboration in Cyber Security Conference in Singapore, July 13-14. He will serve as a keynote speaker at the conference and was invited specifically to talk about the 2007 cyber attacks against Estonia. The conference, titled "Securing the Cloud, Web, and Virtual Networks," will bring together leading international experts, including from the U.S. Department of Defense.
In an effective display of the level of interest in and importance of cyber security in today's environment all around the globe, the conference will be jointly hosted by the U.S. National Defense University (NDU) Information Resources Management College (NDU iCollege) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). Estonia's participation in this conference draws attention to the extensive experience and knowledge base held here through the Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE).
