20. novembril lahkus igavikku E.E.L.K. Montreali Jaani Koguduse kauaaegne õpetaja Heino Laaneots.
Heino Laaneots sündis 26. augustil 1928 Pärnumaal Jäärjas. Ta lõpetas Oxfordi ülikooli Mansfieldi Kolledzhi 20. juulil 1968.
Aastatel 1967–1970 teenis ta Corby Norhantsi Püha Pauluse Kogudust Inglismaal. 1970–1976 oli ta E.E.L.K. Inglismaa praost. 1977. aastast alates teenis ta E.E.L.K. Montreali Jaani Kogudust. Heino Laaneots oli abielus Virve Laaneotsaga. Abielust on poeg Lembit.

Dear Synod Family:
Our beloved brother and colleague, the Rev. Heino Laaneots entered into eternal life on Friday, November 20, 2009.
Rev. Laaneots is a graduate of Mansfield College in Oxford. He was ordained on July 20, 1968. He served St. Paul’s, Corby Northants, England, 1967-1970; Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Deanery of England, 1970-1976; St. John Estonian Lutheran Church, Montreal 1977-1997.
Born in Jäärja, Estonia, Pastor Heino is survived by his wife Virve and son Lembit.
