"The Soviet Story" Premiere Screening in Toronto
Pühapäeval, 31. jaanuaril kell 15.00/ Sunday, Jan. 31st at 3pm
Ukrainian Cultural Centre, 85 Christie St.
Tickets are $15. The director, Edvins Snore, of Latvia, will be at the screening. Tribute to Liberty and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress are co-sponsors of the event.
This excellent documentary on the crimes of Communism is likely of interest to all the communities that support Tribute to Liberty and the Canadian memorial to victims of totalitarian Communism. It is important that the Toronto screening of this documentary is well publicized - it is a film that should be seen by as wide an audience as possible.
The Economist calls the film "the most powerful antidote yet to the sanitisation of the past. The film is gripping, audacious and uncompromising."
Soviet Story tickets are now available online for anyone who would like to pay with credit card, at the following website:
www.uscyork.ca There is a small transaction fee for this service and has been priced in with the tickets purchase. Meaning the tickets will cost slightly more- example one ticket will cost $15.82.
