The Estonian and Russian foreign ministries agreed that the Estonian Foreign Minister’s visit to Moscow will take place on February 18th. The foreign ministers plan to sign the Act on the Ratification of the State Border Treaty between the Republic of Estonia and the Treaty on the Delimitation of Maritime Areas of Narva Bay and the Gulf of Finland between the Republic of Estonia and the Russian Federation.

Following the signing of the treaties by both foreign ministers, the treaties must be ratified in the Estonian and Russian parliaments.

The foreign ministers of Estonia and Russia also plan to sign an agreement between the government of the Republic of Estonia and the government of the Russian Federation regarding the terms of the location of the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in the Russian Federation and the terms of the location of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Estonia.

The foreign ministers also agreed that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s visit to Estonia would take place in the second half of 2014.
