Estonian inflation is now expected to average 3.3% this year, the finance ministry last week said, upwardly revising the previous forecast of 2.8%. In the new economic outlook the ministry, however, reduced its outlook for consumer-price growth in 2013. It said consumer price growth may slow to 3% next year, compared with a previous estimate of 3.1%. The ministry attributed the upward revision of the inflation figures to the rising oil prices which it said had already exceeded it estimates.
