On Saturday, October 28th the third concert in a series presented by the Estonian House Piano Committee will feature Indrek Laul, Armas Maiste, Arunas Radtke and Raisa Nakhmanovich.

Indrek Laul, owner of the ESTONIA piano factory in Tallinn, introduced the ESTONIA piano at the inaugural concert last year. He studied at the Juilliard School of Music for nine years, completing his master's and doctorate degrees. For the 100th Anniversary of the Juilliard School, 100 top graduates were chosen and Indrek Laul was one of these along with Van Cliburn, Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, Renee Fleming and Wynton Marsalis.

Armas Maiste, our second piano soloist, is known as a jazz pianist and for his improvisations. He has played with the Montreal Symphony and set up the music program at McGill University and the jazz program at Humber College.

Arunas Radtke, a Lithuanian tenor, was born in Sudbury. A college graduate, he has taken voice lessons for eight years and plans to develop his voice to its full potential and perform as a semi-professional in the music world.

Raisa Nakhmanovich, Arunas Radtke's accompanist, is a well known musical director and pianist. She is in great demand as an accompanist for the opera school, major concerts, festivals and musical productions.

Tickets/table reservations are available for $50 at the Estonian House Office (416-461-7963), the estore (416-465-2219) or by calling Marlene Kuutan at 416-493-6025. Tickets include dinner/coffee/dessert/concert.

There will be a cash bar and a silent auction. Doors open at 6:30 p.m..
