Thank you to all who came out to help prepare the Toronto Estonian House for the fall season. We washed windows and walls, and scrubbed the floor at the entrance to the archives. We rented a U-haul, and took some big items to recycling, including the broken photocopier, a window air conditioner, an old TV, and some of the wooden tables. We were especially delighted with the help of energetic youth who had recently arrived from Eesti: Taavi Kivisik has come to study psychology at the University of Toronto, Madli Uutma has studied law and psychology in Eesti, and is looking for work here, and Hendrik Tork has been here from Eesti for a year now studying human geography. Welcome and good luck to you. Photo: K.M.
