Economics Lesson
Money is “nominal.” It is nothing besides a psychological trick – fiction – a symbol that has no intrinsic value. Unless you enjoy:
• collecting pictures of dead people. (M0)
• staring at numbers on A4 paper. (M1)
• money is useless. It burns well, but it tastes bad and too small for a tissue.
To buy things, we could barter, but that is inconvenient since it requires a “double coincidence of wants” and presents pricing & storage problems. So money is:
