EU's Almunia says currency pegs can have benefits

TALLINN, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Currency pegs can bring benefits of exchange rate stability which nations with floating currencies lack, European Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Joaquin Almunia was quoted on Saturday as saying.
