Family seeks return of laptop computer
containing memories of recently departed son
While at the funeral of their 23-year-old son, Erik, Saturday morning, September 25, Mailis and Jaan Saun were the victims of theives who broke into their car at Tartu College (Madison and Bloor W.) and stole, amongst other personal items and electronic equipment, two laptop computers.
These laptops have special significance for the Saun family. They contain very unique video footage and photos of Erik, memories that cannot be replaced.
This theft has added to the deep grief suffered by the Sauns and the consternation of their friends and acquaintenances.
The Sauns need the understanding and help of all who realize the added tragedy this theft has caused the family.
The stolen items: Apple laptop, with blue-black-white maple leaf-shaped decal which may have been removed..... IBII black laptop/notebook.
The Sauns have indicated that they would even welcome their return, without recrimination – no questions asked.
