FRANKFURT (MNI) - There is no reason why the Baltic country of Estonia shouldn't be able to join the Eurozone as planned in 2011, Finnish Finance Minister Jyrki Katainen said in an interview published Thursday.
Katainen told German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that "all states must be treated according to the same rules" with respect to monetary union.
"Estonia has coped with a decline in economic activity of 10% and obviously still fulfills the criteria" for adoption of the common currency, he said.
