In English, please see below.See algas nii: kolisin Collingwoodi kaks ja pool aastat tagasi. Kuulsin, et siin oli mõni eestlane - enamus suvilaomanikke aga mõni ka aastaringselt. Ühel päeval kui mu abikaasa oli rauapoes, seljas Seedrioru särk, astus tema juurde noormees ja ütles "tere". Sellest ajast peale sain aru ja kuulsin ka mujalt, et siin on rohkem ja rohkem eestlasi. Ma otsustasin, et on aeg kõiki kokku kutsuda ja millal on parem aeg kui kui Vabariigi aastapäeva nädalavahetusel, 22. veebruaril!
Oli tore õhtu ja kohtasime "uusi" eestlasi. Meid oli kokku kakskümmendkaks, järgmine kord ootame veelgi rohkem.

It started like this: I moved to Collingwood two and a half years ago. I had heard there were a few Estonians here - some year-round and more, who have cottages here.
One day, my husband was at the hardware store, wearing a Seedrioru shirt. A young man came up to him and said "tere." Since then, I have heard of more and more Estonians in the area. I decided it was time to get everyone together, and when better than the weekend of Estonian Independence day, February 22nd!
It was a nice evening and we met some "new" Estonians. We were twenty-two in total and expect more the next time.
