Hans Moks 1923 - 2011 Born on October 15, 1923 in Saadjarve, Estonia. Attended Hugo Treffner High School in Tartu and studied Physical Education at the University of Tartu. In 1944 went to Sweden where he resided and worked for seven years. Studied graphic art through a correspondence course. In 1951 immigrated to Toronto, Canada. For three years he took evening courses in art at Central Technical School. Worked as a graphic artist for thirty years for a prominent Toronto firm. Painting has always been his hobby, but after his retirement has painted more intensely. Held a one-man exhibition in November 1997 at the Estonian House in Toronto. Later participated in EKKT shows in Toronto. Works are in many private collections.
Sündis 15. oktoobril 1923 Saadjärvel, Eestis. Lõpetas Hugo Treffneri gümnaasiumi, õppis Tartu Ulikoolis kehalist kasvatust. 1944.a. põgenes Rootsi, kus töö kõrvalt õppis korrespondentskooli kaudu rakenduskunsti. 1951. aastal emigreerus Kanadasse. Oppis kolm aastat kunsti Central Technical õhtukoolis. Töötas 30 aastat rakenduskunstnikuna ühe suure Toronto firma juures. Vabal ajal ja hiljem pensionil olles hakkas maalima. Iseseisev näitus sai teoks 1997. aasta novembris. Osales hiljem ka EKKT näitustel. Tema maale on paljudes privaatkogudes.
