GULAG 113 describes the near-death experiences of Eduard Kolga, when he, and 50,000 fellow Estonians, were shanghaied into the Soviet army during WW II. On their trip to Siberia, in boxcars, a third of the conscripts died.
When Kolga, after two years, was forced to fight for the Soviets, he was able to escape, and make his way back to Estonia.
The telefilm was produced and directed by Kolga's grandson Marcus Kolga.
This segment is in English, allowing friends of Estonians to see what the families of their friends had to go through before they arrived in Canada.
