President Toomas Hendrik Ilves sent a letter of congratulation to Bronislaw Komorawski on the occasion of the election as the president of the Republic of Poland.

"Estonia and Poland are close friends and partners. We cooperate efficiently in the European Union and NATO. I am confident that we will continue working with you in order to strengthen even further the excellent bilateral relations between our two countries."
