"In the Crosswind" ("Risttuules") had its international premier on Tuesday (Sept 9th) night at TIFF. "Risttuules" focuses on capturing a time in history when thousands of Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians were taken from their homes and placed in Siberian labour camps by the occupying USSR. The film is directed by Martti Helde and produced by Pille Rünk and Piret Tibbo-Hudgins.
