Ingrid Rüütel will receive the Silver Badge of the International Council of Organizations for Folklore Festivals and Folk Art (CIOFF).

Tomorrow, on March 8 at 1 PM, the annual meeting of the Estonian National Council of Folklore, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Council, will take place in the Chamber Hall of the Old Town Studio in Tallinn; and the Northern Europe Sector of the CIOFF will confer the Silver Badge of the CIOFF, the Sector's most distinguished award, on Mrs. Ingrid Rüütel. As a national delegate of Estonia, Mrs. Rüütel got the award for her services to the international folklore movement.

Also Kari Bergholm, the World President of the International Council of Organizations for Folklore Festivals and Folk Art, as well as the Honorary Member of the Council Sirkka Viittanen, and the members of the national sectors of Finalnd, Latvia, and Lithuania, will be present at the meeting.
